INTERFAITH VOLUNTEER CARE GIVERS: There are many elderly and disabled persons who are on the waiting list and trying to hold on to what little independence they still have. Many are frail, homebound, isolated. Some are family care givers who need time out from caring for a loved one with Alzehimers, Parkinson's or stroke results. Please consider sharing some compassion and kindness once a week to help make a difference in the life of another person. Opportunities to be a friendly visitor, respite volunteer or medical escort; there is no hands-on nursing care. Volunteers receive orientation. Please call Edie, Belinda or Pat at 203-230-8994.
